Magnesium oxide is an inorganic compound used as a food additive, color stabilizer, pH adjuster, and as a magnesium supplement for health products and foods. It is used as a decolorizing agent for refining sugar, a PH adjuster for ice cream powder, etc. It can also be used in feed. It is an excellent rumen buffer that regulates rumen fermentation, increases the absorption of milk synthesis precursors by the mammary gland, and increases milk production and milk fat rate.
